CLS MEMBER COMMUNICATION MAY 31, 2026. What an incredible night of racing at Ventura Raceway last night! We’re truly grateful to all the drivers and teams who made it out. It was one of those picture-perfect “chamber of commerce” evenings—beautiful beach weather, a track in top-notch condition, and fans treated to an outstanding lineup of the very best Lightning Sprint cars and drivers in California. The field featured past champions from CLS and SoCal Lightning Sprints, the recent winner of BCRA’s prestigious Albright Memorial, plus a mix of seasoned veterans and rookies whose lap times were separated by mere fractions of a second. From start to finish, the program ran smoothly—even on the eve of a rare blue moon. The night wrapped up with a thrilling green-to-checkered main event that tied it all together perfectly.
