Howdy racers..... time to chalk up and shoot
again! Clearly the rain at Merced killed off a
great opportunity for our Civil War opener with
BCRA. This weekend's weather looks to be fantastic
for racing. Everyone put on an epic show at
Bakersfield at our last appearance on what was one
of the best race surfaces we've ever seen. Let's
hope for more of the same this weekend!
On
to CLS business..... for those who wish to
continue to accrue CLS championship points please
be sure to get your membership dues in. Those who
have not paid their membership fees will cease to
be scored in our points championship. Your
membership directly supports the club and seeds
our championship point fund. This year we need to
focus on increasing car count and canvassing the
streets to bring in more competitors. We've got a
good crop of new folks showing up to race, let's
keep growing!

The grace period is over, all cars
expecting to pass tech (top 4 main event) at all
CLS races must have a Hoosier SP3 on their right
rear. SP2s are still acceptable for use in
qualifying, heat races and those not making it to
the top 4 of the main event.

throwout race for the season (and only 3 races
completed) here's the current adjusted point
