CLS Member Communication April 5, 2024. Howdy racers..... seems like an eternity since our last race! As I said previously, everyone put on a fantastic show at Bakersfield, we need to keep this momentum going throughout the season. Whether it's a CLS, BCRA or SCLS show get your cars out to the race track! Next up is the first CLS/BCRA Civil War event at Merced Speedway one week from tomorrow. Sure, there may be cold with rain or snow all over the place today, but next week is supposed to be a huge change in weather with a high of 83 degrees forecast for Merced. Perfect racing weather! (full dislcosure, anything that's not rain or snow is perfect racing weather). On to CLS business..... for those who wish to continue to accrue CLS championship points please be sure to get your membership dues in. Those who have not paid their membership fees will cease to be scored in our points championship. Your membership directly supports the club and seeds our championship point fund. This year we need to focus on increasing car count and canvassing the streets to bring in more competitors. We've got a good crop of new folks showing up to race, let's keep growing! The 2024 schedule California Lightning Sprints 2024 schedule 2024 CLS Membership FORM The grace period is over, all cars expecting to pass tech (top 4 main event) at all CLS races must have a Hoosier SP3 on their right rear.
